Megzo terracotta is a natural clay tile shaped from locally sourced earth, crafted according to traditional expertise. Each tile is hand-molded, naturally dried, then fired in artisanal kilns to achieve its distinctive warmth and durability. The natural clay composition gives terracotta its rich, earthy tones and organic texture. Due to this handcrafted process, each piece presents slight variations in color, texture, and surface—characteristics that define the authenticity of genuine terracotta.
Production times typically range from 4 to 8 weeks, depending on formats, quantities, and season. Minimum orders are 12 m² for standard references and 20 m² for custom formats or prototypes. Customization includes developing specific dimensions, creating unique surface finishes, and the option to produce a prototype before full production.
Megzo terracotta tiles are packed with care to protect their natural surface. They are placed in reinforced cardboard boxes or wooden crates depending on the format, then shipped on wrapped and secured pallets. Shipment is handled by specialized carriers experienced with natural materials. Average delivery times are:
- 5–7 days in Morocco,
- 10–15 days in Europe,
- 3–6 weeks in North America.
Transport insurance is available upon request.
Megzo prepares samples by manually selecting representative tiles to faithfully illustrate the colors, textures, and natural variations of terracotta. Samples are carefully packed in reinforced cardboard boxes, then shipped quickly within 5 to 7 days. Sample packs contain between 4 and 12 tiles, and sample fees are refunded or deducted with orders over 12 m² for terracotta.
